Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Tripping Billies, an event broadcast and social meetup app for adults. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

1. Eligibility: 18 and over only

Tripping Billies is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the app. We verify your date of birth during sign-up, and accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are removed. Do not use the app on behalf of anyone under 18.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate information, including your real date of birth. One account per person; do not share, sell, or transfer your account.

3. User-generated content

Tripping Billies has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must expressly agree to these terms before registering or signing in. We filter objectionable text before publication. Report offensive content using Report on a profile, broadcast, comment, or message. Block abusive users from their profile or message menu. Blocking prevents contact and hides their content.

You can post event broadcasts, comments, messages, photos, and profile information. You keep ownership of what you post, and you grant Tripping Billies a non-exclusive license to host and display it within the app so the service can function. You are responsible for what you post. Content must not:

• Contain nudity, sexually explicit material, or sexual solicitation.
• Harass, threaten, bully, or defame anyone.
• Promote violence, hate, or discrimination against people or groups.
• Include anyone's personal information without their consent.
• Be spam, scams, impersonation, or misleading commercial promotion.
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
• Facilitate illegal activity, including illegal drug sales.

4. No paid subscriptions in this release

This release of Tripping Billies is free to use and does not offer paid subscriptions, free trials, or in-app purchases. If a later release introduces paid features, we will publish the applicable pricing and purchase terms before those features become available.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Using the app while under 18, or misrepresenting your age or identity.
• Stalking, intimidating, or harming other users, online or at events.
• Scraping, automated access, or attempts to bypass security or rate limits.
• Reverse engineering the app or interfering with its operation.
• Using the app for unlawful purposes.

Meet people from the app in public places and use your own judgment. Tripping Billies does not run background checks on users and is not responsible for user conduct at events or meetups.

6. Moderation, enforcement, and appeals

We review reports and act within 24 hours, removing objectionable content and suspending or banning abusive users. Reports immediately hide the reported content from the reporter and enter our moderation queue. Moderators receive alerts and can remove content, warn, suspend, or ban accounts. Contact us using the published support address below for urgent safety concerns. If your account is actioned, you will be notified and can appeal from within the app or by replying to the moderation notice. Appeals are reviewed by a human and the outcome is communicated to you.

7. Termination

You can stop using Tripping Billies anytime and delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create risk for other users, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses needed for moderation records and limitation of liability) survive.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tripping Billies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or interactions with other users.

Tripping Billies is an independent product of Tripping Billies LLC and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or licensed from any recording artist, band, venue, promoter, or ticketing company. Event titles, venue names, and favorite-artist entries shown in the app are typed by users as ordinary references to public events; no artist artwork, recordings, or lyrics are bundled with the app.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. If changes are material we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
